Until We Meet Again
The loss of loved ones is often painful. I was quite young when I lost my most favorite person. It took me years to process the concept of death and to my surprise it keeps changing every time. What is death indeed? Is it the ultimate? If so what is the purpose of life… the questions are endless. I chose to understand death as a new beginning… it is a part of the magic of life.
When someone dies we cry, we claim it as grief. I believe we cry out of envy; we envy that someone else escaped the misery of life before you did!
Past two years lot of us have lost our loved ones, here is a poem expressing our mutual grief and pain… you are not into this alone.
Until We Meet Again
She bid me away
without any sigh.
She went her way,
her heart was still
so was mine…
Her elegant little smile said
‘We shall meet again’
hair was still in place…
so was her heart
but mine was pale!
Her garment shrunk, but
her soul hoped for a hope that
‘We shall meet again’
Her palms over lapped,
still her beauty in place;
Her soul chose a better universe,
the spark of her absence
assured that
‘We shall meet again!’
